Cookies and your choices
Analytics is off until you turn it on. When you first arrive, we ask before loading anything that is not strictly necessary. If you decline, or if you simply never answer, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded at all, so no request is made to Google and no analytics cookie is set. This is not a banner that asks politely while tracking anyway.
We group cookies and similar storage into three categories:
- Strictly necessary — security, and the record of the cookie choice you made. Always active. These cannot be disabled without breaking the site.
- Functional — our own Aether AI support chat widget, which keeps a session so a conversation survives a page change. First-party, and not used for advertising or profiling.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4, used to understand which pages are useful. Off unless you accept. We enable IP anonymization and we do not enable Google Signals, advertising features, or remarketing.
Google reCAPTCHA runs only on pages with a form and only for spam and abuse prevention, which we treat as strictly necessary security.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent is exactly as easy as giving it.
Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or extension sends GPC, we treat it as a valid opt-out under the California Consumer Privacy Act and equivalent state laws. Analytics stays disabled automatically and we will not show you a banner asking you to reconsider.
We do not sell or share your personal information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We run no advertising pixels, no remarketing tags, and no data brokers.
Data security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we process it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent you previously gave. You have the right not to be treated differently for exercising any of them.

We will acknowledge within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 days, extendable once by a further 45 days where a request is complex, in which case we will tell you before the first period expires. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will only use what you give us for that purpose to complete the verification. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission.
If you believe we have mishandled your information you may complain to your data protection authority. In California that is the California Privacy Protection Agency; in the EEA or UK it is your national supervisory authority.
Children's privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
